It’s officially baseball season at our house and that means we either eat dinner at 4:00pm or 9:00pm. So an easy recipe is a must have for us this time of year!
This is seriously the easiest recipe for spaghetti; you just dump it all in the pot.
Ingredients: slow cooker, pasta of your choice, pasta sauce, 2 tablespoons minced garlic, frozen meatballs, and your preference of seasonings
- pour 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce in bottom of slow cooker.
- fill bottom of slow cooker with meatballs. (cooks best if its one layer of meatballs all side by side)
- season meatballs with garlic powder, tonys creole seasoning, and salt
- add 2 tablespoons of minced garlic on top of meatballs
- pour remaining pasta sauce on top of meatballs.
- cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-4 hours.
- for the pasta noodles, you have 2 choices:
- option 1- one hour before you’re ready to eat- dry pasta (penne or rotini works best in this case) dump it in and stir; cook on low for 1 hour- then Eat & Enjoy!
- option 2 – 15 minutes before your ready to eat, boil some noodles on the stove top; drain noodles and dump cooked noodles in the pot and stir- then Eat & Enjoy!
- Optional side choices– serve with a bag of Caesar salad or garlic bread.
Hope you like it as much as we do!
